(WIP) Self-portrait—Combining painting, game design, and information design.
I’ve been chewing on this idea for awhile, but finally started to make some progress this past weekend after deciding that I just needed to start!
I have fun explaining my major (“it’s complicated”), and what I do to others. So, as a centerpiece of my portfolio’s homepage… I decided I needed this thing. This thing, it should show a brief history of me as an emerging designer, as well as demonstrate my abilities as a painter (through the Braid-like art style) and game designer (it will look like a part of a level from a platformer).
So far, I developed the storyline up until my Big Fat Letter from CMU… Can you guess why there is a spiked pit blocking out 2005, and part of 2006?
