Concept Art | quick 2 cents for our indie game this semester:
Obvious inspiration taken from Worms.
& would love some original music to serve as prime example levels.
Hint hint composers out there.
Recently, I created a hub for our cat games. Mochicat is officially online for the public…
Soot - Game Preview ; A.K.A. “Not another cat game!” This semester we’re making a stealth, trap based escape game.
CODE: Haskell, ART: Traditional paint, scanned, and to be manipulated electronically.
Mochicat is a collection of 2D pixel games exploring the usage of progressive music+art to enrich the player’s experience. Play the beta version! (Windows only for now.)
A gift for a friend. Supersheep (from Worms) as interpreted by said friend: 4 shades of anti-pill fleece softness all around.
Lesson of the semester: Do NOT take 3 project intensive courses at once. Regardless, I still manage to find time to draw some pixel art for our semesterly indie game. This is the main menu; Mochicat will be released next Friday :)
Raincat reloaded, the watercolor. This is a scan of the progression. Hopefully I’ll get around to scanning all the new and completed pieces in my watercolor sketchbooks including this one! P.S. Raincat is a playable game :)
How’s my new Twitter background? It features graphics from a Color Game project: guess what color the Gods of the Random assigned me?
Interrupting my series of Something… posts to let you know Geekbear is updated. Doop!
Finally! The new GCS shirts were recently printed. (Original design posted here about a year ago.) The final consensus was Aqua on Slate; they’re on nice American Apparel cotton blend shirts.
